Red Meat, green leafy vegetables eg spinach, and pulses like beans and lentils are packed with iron.
Also, avoid drinking tea after meals since it can prevent iron absorption.
Good luck. X

Meat, especially liver.

Try Juice Plus. I did. Juice Plus is fruits and vegetables in capule form. You will get all the nutrients you need with Juice Plus. Also try Juice Plus Complete. It's in powder form. I use it to make smoothies in the morning and I stay full for hours. . The website is www.juiceplus.com/+tc84591. There are Juice Plus gummies for children as well. Hope this helps!

I have bouts of low iron as well. I was told to eat foods high in iron content such as fish, liver and green vegetables. I also was told to take a daily vitamin with iron.

If you aren't into meat (an most of the iron isn't aborbed anyway) try liquid Chlorophyl. It builds red blood cells.

eat stuff with a lot of food with high iron percent, check the back where it says all the vitamins and stuff

As a registerd nurse I would tell you to iron glycinate capsules. You can find these at any drug store. This contains Bis-Glycinate, which is a tolerated form of Iron that is gentle to your system. You should also know that Every living cvell contains Iron. Iron is a necessary component of hemoglobin, which is the oxygen carrier in your blood. Iron is also important for energy utilzation. These capsules contain 28 mg of Iron, which is perfect for what your body needs.

**Take one capsule daily, preferably with a meal. Do NOT take this product within 2 hours of taking medications. As a reminder, discuss the supplements and medications you take with your health care providers and follow their advice.

I had the same problem when I tried to give blood. My iron was low, but my B-12 levels were REALLY low which made my iron low too. I felt tired before I started taking B-12 everyday...now I feel great and my levels are back to normal. But you have to take it everyday! Go to Walmart or a GNC and get B-12 & Iron.

you need to eat liver, fish veg, and excise.just eat food that build your iron up and ask your doctor to put you on some kind of iron pills.
