OMG I did really really bad today!!?!


Question: LOOK AT WHAT I ATE -

Breakfast - eggwhites with a tortialla
Lunch - white pasta, a sandwhich on whole wheat bread with turkey and a salad (no ranch dressing)
SNACKS - ICE CREAM and pretzels!!

CARDIO FOR 30MIN


Dinner - red meat, salad and half a potatoe


EVENING SNACK - ice cream AGAIN


I did really bad huh? I ate ice cream today I just ruined my whole diet!!

What do I do??
Or am I still buring calories from the cardio that I did?
I ate about 1 1/2 cups of ice cream all together, I couldnt help it I was like starving!

Now, wait a second! We are ALL human and we all make mistakes to one degree or another! Just realize this and KNOW that tomorrow is a whole NEW day and you'll do _-*BETTER*-_ tomorrow!
Do NOT beat yourself up over a few bad mistakes.

no, at least you got some dairy in. i wouldnt make an everything thing out of ice cream though. Try Breyer's no sugar added double churned. It's actually really good...or try frozen yogurt!

Your fine, there is always a point in a diet when your going to want to indulge yourself and you did. This is not the end of the world. If you hop back on the next day you will be fine. My,suggestions, even though you didn't ask for one, to help raise metabolism and burn more calories is to run when you do cardio it helps a lot

You are fine. You are burning calories from the cardio. The best way to diet is not to totally cut off foods you enjoy such as ice cream, instead you should limit the amount of ice cream you eat.

I might suggest too switching to wheat tortilla's and wheat pasta.
A little bit of fat is not bad, but I believe wheat is better for you in the long run.

Lastly, you should incorporate some fruit into your diet.

how can you have white pasta and a sandwich for lunch?! Sounds a bit too excessive. Anyways, you can't gain that much overnight so chill

Stop 'dieting'. Start thinking of health, not diet. What's healthy? Keeping your metabolism up by fueling it with high energy nutrient low cal foods. The feeling the need to pig out is a sign of something. You're either bored with food choices, you're not making the right food choices and are lacking something in your diet, you're not drinking enough water, you may have stress or emotional issues that you need to deal with or you may have PMS. Determine your reasons for pigging out. Keep a journal and find a pattern. But don't beat yourself up. That's negative feedback on yourself and you need to make sure you feel in control enough to be able to change your habits. Just say tomorrow is a new day and I'm going to try to find out what is going on that makes me want to feel like pigging out so much. Alot of it has to do with food choices and not eating enough calories during the day to feel satisfied so you aren't reaching for those high calorie foods.
Based on what you have written, I think you need to do at least an hour of cardio a day or why bother. You also need more veggies and fruit in your diet, at least 5 a day. Eat protein (about the size of your palm and 1 inch thick) at every meal and keep the carbs like bread OR pasta to one serving per meal along with a vegetable. Have two small snacks a day either on fruit and vegies or some low fat yogurt or low fat frozen yogurt instead of ice cream with some fruit. Be careful of the sugar in ice cream, it's addicting. Try not to get into that feeling of starving. Carry some raw veggies, an apple, whole grain crackers such as Wasa and lite cheeze with you so you don't get to that starving place. It really works.

um. stop fishing for compliments. obviusly you dont eat s*** and you know it. "(no dressing)"...ps nobody cares!!

Your taking it a bit to seriously. Relax! your human, you only live once. Embrace life and embrace its beauty. Beautiful things like food!

If your that paranoid try doing HIIT cardio [Google "HIIT cardio"] in the morning.
You will be able to eat anything you want, because your metabolism goes absolutely nuts and burns at a ridiculous rate for the whole day.

Then you can do your regular cardio at night, to burn even more calories (only if you want to loose more weight).

You didn't do THAT badly. Everything is fine..just have less ice-cream.
