Weight training, please help!?!


Question: I've been working out. My reps have been going down with each set, like 20, 15, 13, or 12, 11 then 8. is this normal? Do i need better conditioning? Please, is there is anyone that can give me a better strenghening routine or something

if your trying to get stronger stick to no more then eight to ten reps at sets of 3 to 4. if you can lift more then ten reps in a set your not lifting enough. For definition you go for higher reps but not if your going for mass.

If your trying for strengthening try this;

3 sets of 8 reps. Change the weight, so that teh last few reps in the final set are really difficult to complete. Wait at least 90 seconds between each set. Slowly increase the weights as time continues.

Push through the exercises really fast, and let them come back down to your chest as slowly as possible.

an exercise physiologist just did this plan with me like 3 weeks ago.

your doing to many reps if you want to strength train switch your routine. I go set x reps 3x10, 5x5, 4x8, 12,10,8 you will put on mass and strengthen
