Switching from 15 cokes daily to only water should...?!

Question: make you lose weight, right?
im n ot addicted to caffine. i just love sodas.
im extremely obese (i have a twin sister and i weight exactly twice as much as her. shes 132 and im 264)
but i really dont eat much.
sodas are the only thing i can think of that would make me this huge.
i mean, i excercise every day.
so...that should help, right? cause i really want to look like i have a twin instead of looking like im her distant cousin or something

GIRL LET ME TELL YOU! i was in ur situition..and trust me, i used to drink LOTS more pop than you..so one night, i was all by myself, and when i was picking up my room, i has 2 TRASH BAGS FULL OF JUST POP..i dropped it and i've lost 24 pounds in just 3 months..and now im excerising..or what i can w/ the my weather being all snowy and what not..good luck!

yes, god, by all means lose the soda! You are on the right track.

Yeah, I think it would.
But it would be really hard from going from 15 daily to none.
So I suggest trying to cut down slowly, to the point where you dont drink it at all.

try the lemonade diet, It will remove alot of the toxins from the coke and make it easier to excercise.

yes, yes, yes.
not only will cutting out the soda help you drop weight, you will also find cardio excises easier to do, due to the fact that your body isn't weighed down with all those sugars and carbonation. when my mother cut out soda and alcohol, she dropped 40 lbs, and she wasn't drinking near as much as you.
now, i highly doubt that you'll lose one hundred plus pounds, but this is a great way to start looking at ways to change your habits to lose weight.

You're right; dropping the 15 cans of Coke alone is over 2800 calories! Along with all the sugar (180 teaspoons), it is definitely a huge step!

I'm worried that such a change will make you search for something to make up for all those calories that your body is used to getting. Your body will go into a mild shock (not literally), but it will take some time for your body to get used to this shift in calorie intake. Keep up with the exercise but I would still keep track of what is going into your body so that you're not substituting something new into your diet that will hinder that calorie drop.

The weight will come off. Just be patient and in time you will start seeing results.

15 Cokes is really hard on the kidneys.
All the carbs that you are taking in are
being metabolized into glucose,
the body uses what it needs & then
stores the rest as fat, even though
Cokes don't have "fat" in them.
It's just how the body works.
Have you considered a gastric by pass?
At 264, you are more than likely considered
in the range of "morbidly obese",
unless you are 7 feet tall.
I've been where you are now.
On December 2, 1998, I had a gastric by pass,
it saved my life & probably my sanity.
I yo-yoed between 275 to 295 lbs all the time,
then one month, I tipped the scales
& hit 305, that's when I knew I needed help.
I now weigh 127 to 135 depending on fluids & salt.
I would at least get some info on the surgery.
Or talk to a Bariatric Doctor.

My field is in fashion, as a result many people ask me how they can slim down. My answer is always the same: good diet and exercise. But I found this great product (all natural) which I think helps a lot in the process (it's really good for detox, you'll feel much healthier). I recommend you check this website
http://weigh-less-feel-great.us , they have a free trial and you only pay $4.95 shipping and handling. Good luck!
