Well, you cannot target specific parts of your body for fat reduction. You CAN build a stronger core with situps and ab work, but it won't reduce fat.

Fat cells are burned throughout the body. It comes off your hips, thighs, underarms, belly, butt, and other places at the same time.

If your belly's the only place you still have a lot of fat, keep doing high levels of cardio. When all the other stores are gone, your body HAS to go to the stomach.

Stay patient and stay tough, you're doing fine.

try leg lifts or bicycle workouts, they work your lower and side abs. but a gut will sometimes stick around (just turning to muscle)

First of all, congrats on a great weight loss. You must feel amazing.

Try increasing your ab exercises to 500-600 a day. Do twisting crunches instead of sit-ups. They are much more effective. Another effective ab exercise is crunching on an exercise ball. One last good one: Lie flat on your back with your legs extended above you at a 90 degree angle, feet flexed. Keeping your neck straight, crunch your body upward and hold it. This one hurts, and you'll shake. It is a serious belly buster.

Good luck!

Have you tried specifically targeting your abs? Try getting a video that is just for abs. Build up the muscle under the fat and you should see some improvement. Core training is also a great idea.
Don't get hung up, or dissappointed over this one thing. what you have accomplished is incredible. Keep up the cardio, even maybe add another 30 min session if possible.
In my experience trying out a low carb diet is a way to lose fat in the belly area. I don't advocate Atkins, but something like South beach where you eat only complex carbs is very sensible. No sugar is great, but also avoid sugar substitutes, diet soft drinks asnd such, they are not healthy by any means, stick to water.
And have you had kids? That makes losing the belly so much harder, but keep working at it and be proud of yourself!

p.s. when all else fails, get a pair of SPANX, they are absolutely magical, and make your belly look perfect (under clothing of course)! I wear them almost everyday, super comfortable and breathable, I reccomend them to anyone with even a bit of a belly.

You can't lose fat in only one region of your body, it is spread evenly over your entire body, put it this way, if you fill a tray with water and tilt it slighty the water will move over to that side, but it you keep it flat, the water is spread evenly. You cannot lose fat from one region, unless it is surgically removed, so you need to eat less again, because once your body has lost weight, you come to a weight plateau, which means you won't lose any more weight unless you each less calories than you currently are or just increase your outgoing calories and eat the same.

Hope this helps :)
Good luck with your dieting!
