oh God, Its so annoying when people don't answer your question, they abuse you for asking the question instead!!

I have a friend who was bulemic, she never really lost much weight though because she ate alot and tried to throw it up later. (But it starts digesting already) So yeah. Shes at the same weight she always was now.
In my opinion, anorexia is stronger as since you are not eating, theres nothing to throw up, nothing to digest therefore no norishment and no fat.
I think all the side effects are covered already by the lovely people above, lol.
In conclusion, no, in my opinion Bulimia does not help you lose weight as fast as anorexia can.
:D

Just eat Healthier and be more ACTIVE!!

Is this a joke?

It'll take you closer to death, be very carefull with that.

If you like vomit breath and rotten teeth. Wow, what a diet! No, it does not work....that is why the girls keep on doing it. Don't even think about it.

No you don't lose weight really quickly and it takes a lot of vomiting to get there. The enamel on your teeth erodes due to excess stomach acid in your mouth, which will eventually rot your teeth. It will also cause bad breath. You may develop a long term disorder from which you may never recover. You will be deceitful towards the people who love and care about you and will cause them to worry needlessly over your selfish obsession to lose weight irresponsibly. Try eating properly and exercising instead..

dont tell me your stupid enough to try this? early death for you then.

Bulimics and anorexics don`t die from the disease they die form the damage shoving your fingers down your neck causes,of course you are thinking about it why else would you ask? Read some other peoples life stories it is NOT a pretty road to travel think SERIOUSLY!!.

Alright...I am not going to sit here and lecture you about anything, because in my oppinion, I think its a little rude. But yeah, I have been bulimic for 3 years (currently in recovery)...and when I started I was about 138ish..and right now I am 150. There was a point within these 3 years when I got down to 126, but trust me it does not last long. What happens is that you will find yourself saying "wow, I can eat this donut...I will just go purge it up later" and you become more and more accustomed to eating whatever you want. You rely on the fact that you can go make yourself sick...the truth? half the time you end up falling asleep so you wont have to, or you'll make an excuse for yourself like "I can't, my mom is home" or ANYTHING, just because it is the worst feeling having to shove your fingers down your throat.
Yeah, it was fun for a while, until I found myself on a constant binge actually having to force myself to go into the bathroom and do what I told myself I would.

And then the worst part begins: trying to stop. Honestly stopping is turning out to be one of the hardest things I have ever done. Sure, it seems easy, but I have come to the conclusion that I am both physically and mentally addicted to making myself sick.. It's the easy way out...almost like cheating.

To top it all off, my teeth are horrible and I am currently spending a ton of money to fill my many cavities. Also, I am fat! lol like I said, I am now 150. This is actually how most people who suffer from bulimia turn out: heavier, and much less healthy, than they were in the beginning. It is very rare that someone with bulimia will end up thinner in the long run.

Well, I hope my story helps you to understand the horrible things that come along with bulimia. I am not saying you were thinking of trying it, because I honestly don't know... But if you or anyone you know thinks that maybe "turning" bulimic is the answer for them, then hope my story with make them consider the options of a healthy diet and fitness plan.

Good luck to you!

It's an addiction like alcoholism or crack. Google pictures. Apparently it "works" then you die.

If you are wanting to destroy your metabolism, so that when you finally decide to stop vomiting after you eat, that you'll not be able to eat normally, ever again, then yeah I guess it'll work for you.

If your goal is to make your metabolism slow to the point that all your body does is store fat, because it knows that it doesn't have much time to use the nutrients from the food you ingest, before you vomit it back up again.... then yeah, I guess it'll work for you.

If your goals include wanting to destroy your heart, your stomach, and your chances at having children.... then yeah, bulimia will work for you.

So I guess the true question for you is this: what are your goals in life?

If your goals include being a slave to disease, and never being able to find happiness because of it, then you've found a way to get that. Bulimia.

no bulimia doesn't work. side effects can be malnutrition, anemia, your hair can fall out, it breaks down the enamel on your teeth and they can begin to rot, it causes permanent damage to the esophogus and it can eventually rupture which will cause hemmorhaging and that can kill you unless emergency surgery is done. people keep doing it bc it's an addiction. they feel guilty for eating so they throw it up
