How much water should I be drinking per day?!

Question: I have a 1 liter jug and I need to know how many of them I should be drinking every day? I am trying to drop a few pounds by drinking more water and eating healthier. So how much do I need?

Well I drink quite a bit of water each day...but I am told that you should drink half of your body weight...what I mean by that is if you weigh 150 divide it by 2 which gives you 75 so drink 75 ounces of water...thats what I do and it helps...so good luck!

fill up that jug twice and that'll do it! l liter is about 31 ounces.

You should be drinking 64 oz of water a day-about 2 liters..

When going about your normal daily routine, drink when you're thirsty or just want to. Your bodies' thirst feedback circuit will tell you when it needs fluid. All that stuff about "cleansing" and "nicer skin" and "weight loss" is just bunk as long as you're not dehydrated.

If doing prolonged cardiovascular in warm or hot weather, like cycling, you should drink whether thirsty or not, as the feedback seems to lag and you might get dehydrated.

2 litrs. but you can count the water in squashes, herbal teas etc.

Half the number of ounces of your body weight in pounds.

The debate goes on, water is not always the best solution (water) it should be filtered or distilled for the healthiest use. Drink when your body tells you your thirsty. Some people can consume two quarts a day some less, it depends on how active you are. Try also to intake more fiber, it will relief the hunger and allow you to eat less.
