When is a good time to exercise?!


Question: Hey guys,

I'am going to start some exercising, I am not over weight, im actually skinny but I think this may help me build some muscle. I am not talking about heavy weight lifting, I'am talking about basic exercises and was wondering when is the best time in the a day to do it. What I mean is, is after work a good time? Does it matter if I eat first then exercise or should I do it before then go eat? or should I eat wait a few hours then do it?

Morning is when your testosterone levels are at their highest, around 8 am, so this will help you when weight lifting to some extent....and after a good well-balanced breakfast

Afternoon is when your blood is flowing the best during the day so that would help with more endurance training and running

Night is good for anything if your feeling up for it

Always eat about 30 min before you exercise and eat some protein after you work out, stay away from carbs after you run though...

It would be best to do it first thing in the morning, then eat breakfast. But if it has to be after work, then you should do it immediately after work, and before dinner. That's what I would do anyway.

I do it before dinner.
& on weekends, a little after breakfast.
But, you need to do it after you've eaten SOMETHING,
because food gives you energy.

There's no specific time written down anywhere,
its whenever you feel like it! And there isn't really a problem
with doing after youve eaten, just not RIGHT AWAY.

you could get cramps.. and those don't make your workout very affective.

The best time to exercise is whenever you want.

the morning is the best time cuz it boost your metabolism threw out the day, and your testosterone levels are the highest in the morning, but make sure you eat something before you work out in the morning or you will be in a catabolic state which means that you start diging into your muscle for energy because you have nothing else to work off of, so i would suggest some protein and a good source of healthy carbs like oatmeal,
it has worked really well for me so far,
plus you dont have to worry about working out later in the day and it gives you time to do whatever you want to do later
