Do less reps per set and increase the weight your working out with. This will work for any muscle group that you're trying to increase muscle mass. You can try this a few different ways... Continue to do 3 sets per exercises, but try doing 10 reps the first set, 8 the second, and 6 on the third, each time increasing the amount of weight with each set. Or you could do 3 sets of 6-8 reps using a consistent heavier weight. A good way to determine what weight to use with this method is to find out your max weight for that particular exercise and work out at 80% of that, that's also a good way to determine how much your last set of the first method i mentioned should be. Working out that muscle group twice a week is sufficeint as long as you're working out to muscle failure or exhaustion. They key is to gain the mass you want first, then "shred" it up once you have the size you want. After you're at the size you're looking for, go back to the routine you're using now to increase your definition, or even throw in another set, but just use lower weights. Also don't forget probably the most important thing which is your diet. Make sure you're taking in enough protein to feed your muscles and drinking alot of water to help combat any adverse effects that taking in high amounts of protein may have.

What weights? you need to increase the loads not the reps. And work those babys out till you cant lift it anymore. (To complete failure) also eat like a friggin horse, lotsa protiens on the rest days.

..."Popeye" says... I eats me Spinach !!!

minimum 3 times a week and make sure you're lifting enough weight and doing the exercises properly
