How accurate is the treadmills calculations as to how many calories you're b!
Question: They're actually pretty accurate but honestly I wouldn't worry about how many calories you burn. Pay more attention to time. Make sure you run for at least 30 minutes. Otherwise your not burning any fat. 30 - 45 minutes is a good cardiovascular workout.

I usually don't listen to the treadmill. I do wind sprint intervals.
Run for 2 minutes, sprint for 1, walk for 2, run for 4, sprint for 2, walk for 3, run for 1, sprint for 1, run for 2, walk for 2.
There, a 20 minute workout on the treadmill. And that will boost your metabolism by up to 35% for up to 24 hours.
Just google "HIIT METABOLISM" and find out for yourself.
i have used a pedometer and a treadmill and it seems like the pedometer says you burn more calories actually 'walking' than on a treadmill. but i always go buy sweat now
