How much weight is healthy to lose in 6 weeks time?!

Question: 4-6 kilos. you can achieve the maximum weight loss by doing the following:
1) reduce the amount of sugar and salt you receive. sugar turns to fat, and salt holds water inside your body, so, you gain weight because of water not fat. of course, our body needs salt and the brain needs glucose cause it's the only energy it can use.
2) if you want to go somewhere not very far, don't use a car or bus. walk there. or do some other kind of gymnastics.
3) drink plenty of water to clear your body from toxins. orange juice (freshly-squeezed) can do that too.
In a few words, if the calories you receive per day fall to 1200-1500 cal, you will lose about 1 kilo per week. that depends on what else you do, apart from eating less chocolate or food.

6 kg or 14lbs

It depends person by person.

Everyone's body is different imo.

A healthy amount of weight lost could be different from someones else in that time period.

As a nutrition and dietetics major, I would say that it all depends on how much weight you have to loose. If you diet healthily and exercise and make sure not to skip meals or binge, I would say about 6-9 pounds. A great way to create a diet and exercise plan and get great tips is to go to self.com, it's like having a free dietitian!

Figure about 2 pounds a week. If you are just beginning to exercise you could lose more like 15 or so. After you get going good they say about 2 ponds a week is a healthy number to try and lose.
