i have done fasts like that. i did it for 18 days. after about a week you kinda forget about food. at least thats what happened with me. it was like i didn't even want food! but you might try working somewhere else. mc donalds is horrible for you and it has horrible pay!

first of all why are you fasting for 5-7 days? if it is a religious ritual that is different but it is unhealthy to fast just for fun....(its called anorexia.) so how about you just have a healthy organic, fresh diet. so be healthy.

dont know about you, but the only way i can resist junk food is when i have had a good healthy meal.
thats when i dont feel like eating all the junk food for snacks

be careful, because fasting can be deadly.
and drinking too much fluid can be deadly too because it will flush your body of nessasary nutrients.

so basically, i would stop fasting if i were you and just eat healthier, smaller meals to lsoe the wieght.
be careful

I am assuming you are fasting for religious reasons because fasting for weight loss is not a good idea. The weight comes back right after!

So, try reminding yourself what you are fasting for. Meditate on it. Close your eyes, take a deep breath, count to 10, then release it slowly.

Fasting for that long is dangerous.

If you want to eat more healthily, try eating salads (McD's has good salads with grilled chicken, just pass on the salad dressing, or just use less), and drinking water or unsweetened tea.

If you are trying to lose weight by fasting, that's going to backfire on you, because you are training your metabolism to slow down, by tricking it into thinking that you are going to starve to death! Then when you finally do eat, your body is going to hold onto those calories and fat for dear life.

If you don't eat all the weight you lose is going to be water and muscle anyway.
