What should i do more in a week , run / weightlift ?!


Question: i am 6-2 , 220 lbs , 22 year old, is running better than weight lifting , which is better aerobic endurance or anaerobic muscle strenght , are the both related ?

For over all health, the running will do more for you.

If you have other athletic objectives, lifting may provide the answer. Bear in mind that your cardiovascular system delivers oxygen and carries away the lactic acid. Your pretty muscles don't work very long or very well if that's not in good shape.

It shouldn't be an either/or proposition.

Depends on what your goal is. If you want muscles, go to weights. If you want weight loss and good health, go for cardio. I would do a good mix of both.

Mixing it up is the best. Aerobics, cardio one day, weights the next and so on.
