Is it a good idea to detox before starting a new exercise/diet plan?!


Question: I've never detoxed, and always had trouble losing weight. I've heard a buch of stuff about detoxing before cleaning up eating habits and starting to be more active.

I don't want to take any pills and I know there's no magic fix...but is it a good idea to detox as part of the process? If so, what do you recommend?

Absolutely. I'm a trainer and I am an advocate of detox before trying to reshape your body. Detox will cleanse your colon of alot of build up thats in there from food. Your body carries tons of toxins that add weight. Odds are, you will probably lose somewhere between 3-8 pounds jsut from detox. Detoxing before starting a new exersize/diet plan will refresh your body so you can start clean slate on your new goal. I'd recommend Hollywood Diet or any Detox drink from GNC. I've had experience with all of them. Good luck!
