Has anyone tried the slimfast diet?!


Question: I was thinking of doing weight watchers, but i dont have the money for that. i work and go to school, so slimfast actually seems like it would help because im eating on the run alot, and their shakes might work well for me. has anyone tried this, if so, how did it work for them?

I lost 42 lbs. with Weight Watchers Online. The online version is not very expensive, something like $16 a month. Instead of buying Slim Fast use that money for Weight Watchers Online. If you are able to get online it's awesome. You punch the food in you eat and it tracks it for you. The forums are full of helpful information - and it teaches you to eat every day foods the correct way.

I tried it a long time ago, its alright at first, but it's boring, not filling, and depressing.
Fad diets never work and you'll start feeling depressed and annoyed of this diet easily.
Just eat healthier and do some aerobic exercise.

It works good but you have to make sure you excirsive everyday you drink a slim fast our it wont work!

I love slimfast!!! Weight Watchers is really also, I lost 5 pounds the 1st week!!

I'm going to start back on the SlimFast diet again. I've lost weight on it in the past, so yes, it does work IF you stick with it, drinking plenty of water while you're on it. It WON'T work for you if you eat junk food and fast food, etc. - that's defeating the purpose of going on SlimFast. Bottom line, though, is that it does work. I lost 12 pounds on it in the past - :) Best of luck to you - I'm sure it'll work for you if you stick with it. :D

"slimfast diet"? Isn't that called CRACK COCAINE?

no, personally, I have not..but my buddy did and he lost like 2 pounds in 2 months

they worked ok for me. not super fast, but it is a do-able diet. my opinion, the chocolate ones taste the best. but i lost about 10 lbs in about 2 weeks, by having one with a banana or something for breakfast and the same for lunch

I dont know but weight watchers is good!

jenny craig is better and also try myoplex light if u do exercise its wonderful because when u build muscle u even burn calories at night

They put all their money into marketing rather than their products.

Go to Whole Foods and buy the "Natural" alternative to meal replacement shakes and bars. SlimFast has poor ingredients and are generally not good for you. You don't want to fill your body with table sugar and artificial flavors, you want nutritious AND delicious!

I don't want to sound like a hippie, but go natural!

Weight Watchers might be a good idea....but really diets don't work too well. Just exercise and eat healthy.....if your on the run in the morning eat a banana and yogurt....it's fast and healthy

i think if you wanna lose weight
you should do it by exercise
and eating healthy

Yeah, i just started mine a week and a half ago and ive already lost 2 pounds and the shakes are so good! i love them they have really good flavors and they have awesome bars too.

I've only known one person that tried it. He was HUGE!!! Instead of using it as a meal substitute he just added it to all the things he ate. He used to go to 7-11 at lunchbreak and get an order of chili cheese nachos and a pint of ice cream and then wash it down with slimfast. Funny, it didn't seem to work for him. I used a diet called Mastercleanser, it is cheap( you mix it up yourself) and if you follow the directions and don't cheat you loose weight real fast. I lost almost 70 pounds in less than three months. Google search it. Mastercleanser.

too much sugar. it makes you actually feel more hungry sooner. i usually feel like it is just an appetizer for a real meal if i try them. you need to take a little time to prepare stuff to take places with you for mini meals onthe go. like zip lok bags with some nuts, a banana, string cheese, v-8, baby carrots and to go ranch dressing. or know what offerings at fast food is least harmful. wendy's chili with no added cheese and a side salad with lo fat dressing is actually very healthy. go with little bits of protein and good fats and portable veggies. way better. worked for me

slim fat dieting isn't good for you since it can put much stain on your body. the best thing to do is eat healthy (not McDonald's or anything that had a lot of grease in it) eat your veggies and exercise at least an hour a day or maybe between breaks you can take 10min to stretch and excersice a bit.

i dont really recommend going to a gym but better is to run and play in the park. dont sit in front of the comp/tv all day either.
