Am I a good weight? How many cals a day to lose weight?!


Question: Hi I am 5'8" and weight about 134 lbs- is this ok?
But I know I want to lose some weight. I dont do much excersise so how many Kcals a day should I eat bearing in mind my weight, height and activity levels? I want to lose it as fast as poss too!! Maybe about 6lbs (ideally 10lbs)

you are a healthy weight....but i know what you mean. i am 5ft 7in and i weigh 129. i want to lose some weight as well but everyone just tells me "you are already a healthy weight". its kinda frustrating. you just need to excersice regularly and eat as healthy as you know how. don't eat until you are stuffed. eat until you are satisfied. good luck!

but.. around 1200-1550 a day if you want to lose weight. but you're perfect as you are!!

you sounds like you are at a healthy weight to me, but in order to lose fat, you need to burn off more calories than you eat

You sound perfect to me...

your bmi is 20.4 which is realy healthy!
i wouldnt personaly advise you to loose any weight...
But in order to loose weight you would have to consume around 1200-1500 cals a day no less!
