How much weight will i lose on 1200 carories?!

I am trying to lose weight after having my baby. I have tried Slimming world, which was working well, but lately no movement. Therefore i have decided to go on a calorie diet. I am having 1200 per day, which i am finding quite easy. I am 5.3" and currently weigh 10 stone, i would love to get down to 9 stone. I go on holiday in 5 weeks and would love to be at that weight for then.

On 1200 calories how much will i lose per week??

and ideas to increase weight lose, reducing carories??

Don't listen to the people who have been answering saying 1200 cals/day is dangerous. Research is proven to show that 1200 cals/day is nutritious but that you should NOT go under that amount. Definitely make sure you are getting at least 1200 per day.

You didn't mention that you were doing any physical exercise.. make sure you are doing cardio & weight training to increase weight loss. The weights are necessary in order to burn the fat faster than cardio alone.

I personally had luck with doing 30 minutes on the treadmill, 30 minutes doing weights, and 20 minutes doing pilates (a DVD that I picked up at a local store.. any pilates DVD will work though).

Also, keep in mind that your body WILL "plateau" at some point as far as weight loss goes. You will most likely not lose weight consistently until you reach your goal weight - there will be times when you won't lose at all. This could be due to gaining muscle weight.. muscle weighs more than fat, so as you become more toned, you may notice the scale not budging. Don't become frustrated! Your weight loss will continue, but you MUST keep at it. A lot of people just quit when their body plateau's which is why diets don't work for them.

It's impossible to say. It depends on your metabolism, your exercise, your carb intake, and body mass composition. Sometimes if you don't take in enough calories your body will store them all until you start eating more. It's important to eat a well balanced diet, never skip meals, never go hungry and exercise one hour a day at least.

very little, and if anything, you will gain weight because you are just starving your body and doing exactly the opposite of what t needs to lose weight. you are slowing down your metabolism and it will eventually learn to store fat because it thinks your starving and needs it! you need to eat more calories in a day to lose weight. eat as much as you want, but eat mostly healthy natural foods like fruits yogurt veggies etc. the amount of processed foods you eat is harmful, not the amount of food in general. do not limit your food intake instead increase it to lots of healthy lean food!

Thats suicidal you fool. Slimming down by starvation may make you THINK you look better but your insides are going to take the strain. You are a douche.

How many calories do you burn a day in exercise etc?
