Losing Fat, eating what kinds of food? 10 points for best!!!?!


Question: I'm trying to lose FAT, im 16 years old, 5 feet 6", and weigh 145 lb. My BMI is normal, but I have a belly, thats super 'un-toned'. I need to get rid of the far around the waist, and the fat around the pectorial area.

I'm exercising on the treadmill, and pushups, crunches etc...

What are some foods that are high in fibre, and protein and should be consumed on a daily basis?.

I dont know if I should have carbs, because of the rumor that they'll turn into fat, i wana burn fat, not carbs..

Today's plan:

11:00 am -20 min cardio on treadmill
(BREAKFAST) 11:30 am - 2 weetabix with low fat milk

12:00 pm - 1 medium banana

(LUNCH) 2:00 pm - 100g mixed green veg's including brocolli, cauliflower, green beans.....and 2 cups pulses soup

3:30 pm - 20 min cardio on treadmill

5:00 - 1 Apple

6:00 - 20 min cardio on treadmill

(DINNER) - 2 chicken breasts...50g brocolli, 8 strawberries

THE BEST WAY TO LOOSE UNWANTED POUNDS is to cut off in all that u dnt need and eat lots of what we never eat and need in our body.
For that purpose we set our minds with the word diet...Sometimes thinking that u r on a diet makes u more and anxious on food that when u r not.
In anyevent lets think that u r going to change some habits!!!!
wherever u know sugar is on it with flour, syrup, etc
keep it out of ur sight and be concious that it will slow down
ur metabolism

WE WANT A FAST METABOLISM TO BURN XTRA UNWANTED POUNDS right?

NO carbonated sodas, colas, etc.
No bottle sugar, sodium drinks
No box drinks

NEW election for drink WATER

Same thing goes with lots of carbs...example

NO Pizza
NO bread
No pasta
NO white rice

INSTEAD have a bake potato, brown rice,sweet potato, whole wheat bread, fiber cereal and any starchy vegetable.

Eat lots of fruits till 12pm make them ur BEST FRIENDS pick a fruit for all ur choices, BREAKFAST, MID MORN SNACKS, LUNCH, MID AFTERNON SNACKS AND DINNER

HAVE YOUR mind set up in fresh food, salad, vegetables, fruit salads, theres million of recipes.

You can have a SUSHI ROLL instead of pizza on a weekend

And after a month u can have a burger with just one side of the bread, very little or non mayo...;(

with time ur body will ask u for fresh food and produce and u r
choices will be make without the pressure of diet

U c diet is a word associate with a short period of time like a lap running....u just wanna get on and off

breakfast
fiber cerear with low fat milk
one banana
one apple
orange juice one glass


mid morning
pineapple with little salt
and squeeze lemon

CHICken in anyway ull like (NOT FRIED)
Brocoli or any other hot vegetable
one bake potato
a bowl of salad (no mayo dressing)
One pear


mid afternon snack
One fruit


Dinner
Salmon, water tuna any fish
half cup brown rice
portion vegetable
bowl salad (no mayo dressing)
a piece of fruit

U can exchange fruits, meats or vegetables in dinner and lunch servings. U can also have a boiled egg on both snacks and a cup of hot decafenaited tea.

Count your calories. Keep then under control and you will loose weight. 3600 calorie deficit is equal to 1 pound.

just eat healthy and excersice

ok you lost me. your how old. I would go on a diet. your still young and your body is growing. 145lbs is fine. yeah you can loose 10lbs. but instead of exercise, workout build muscle

High protein are....chicken, meats, fish (tuna in water).......cheese........i think with your diet you are going to be very hungry, you have nothing of substance to make you feel full. You need some oatmeal, grains, nuts.......

eat 1 1/2 of apple
still add 5 min on tred mill but just walk

Low Glycemic Foods.

Good luck! You are on the right track.

Try to avoid processed diet foods because most contain corn syrup which is very high on the glycemic index.

Eat good fats ( Olive oil, nuts) avoid sat/trans fats, processed foods.

Lean proteins (Salmon -awesome in heart healthy omega 3s) & Chicken.

Eat foods high in fiber to help you feel full and keep up your energy. Looks like you are working out alot so you will need it. Apples, Cruciferous vegetables.

Whole grains! Old fashioned oatmeal with a little flax oil and dried fruit, mashed banana, almonds. Keeps me full for hours! DON'T PUT SUGAR IN - it's good with the dried fruits trust me :-) Whole wheat english muffins with organic peanut butter - yum!

Avoid powerbars, sports drinks, and diet food. All that stuff is loaded with sugar and processed. Eat WHOLE natural foods. With all the running you are doing - you are going to be a fat burning machine! Don't overdo it and drink lots of water.

the one secret i wanna tell you is that try "kelloggs special k"
you can eat it in your breakfast and you can have your afternoon meal and again in evening eat kelloggs special k.
in one week you will loose 1 and half kg.

don't pay attention to these diets,keep doing exercises,believe me,after losing weight,if u stop your diet,u'll get back to what u were,but if u exercise daily,it won't be like that
i was about 70kgs,with 175 cms height,with exercising,i lost 11 kgs,and now i'm about 59

You seem to be on the right track..in my opinion anyway, that is basically what I eat everyday on my diet.

Some Foods high in protein:

Cheese
Low Fat milk
Lean meat
Fish
All Natural peanut butter
Egg whites
