Is it possible to gain 30 lbs in 3 months?!

Question: And can I do it using only supplements on top of my regular diet?

Keep in mind I have a very high metabolism, and it takes a lot for me to gain weight.

If you're looking at muscle gain, probably not. Most people can only put on about 1oz of muscle per day maximum even with heavy training and a higher protein diet. That would be about two pounds a month. You usually lose fat and water before the muscle gain starts to catch up with you.

I have done serious training with a trainer (400 pull ups+ biking up to 100 miles/day+jump rope+ weights) and the better in shape I get the denser the muscles get. You can have big muscles that can only last for thirty seconds or lean muscles that you can run 30 miles on.

Good muscle is well-defined and still flexible. Look at swimmers and divers and gymnasts...those guys are ripped but they are not bulky.

It can be done- but only in fat. It would be extremely hard to gain 30 lbs in muscle in 3 months.

It can be done... I have done it... Good luck...

No. The body cannot safely gain that much weight in muscle...which is what I'm guessing you hope to gain it in. To gain 30 lbs of lean muscle, you should allow up to a year or more. Consult a certified trainer to guide you through this and offer tips on nutrition and supplements to help you achieve your goals. Good luck!!

I have recently heard of a sumo diet which is where you starve all day and gorge yourself right before bedtime. When you wake up in the morning, you have an extra bit of fat that you can make into muscle with ease. Or eat all day even when you are full. This should do the trick. Good Luck!

Yes. I can gain 30# in 3 days! LOL

Yes, it can be done. But, only in fat. I actually gained 50 pounds in 3 months. Yikes! But you have to constantly eat.
