How much cholesterol should I include in my daily diet?!
Question: I am in highschool, I eat about 1500 cals. a day, I'm 5'7 and 124 lbs. I ride horses once a week and work out 4 times a week minimum (which is the average:P) I climb and descend a heck of a lot of stairs every day too. What do you think?

It's good to limit cholesterol intake to no more then 300mg a day. Look for food that contain polyunsaturated or monounsaturated fats and foods that increase the HDL. Of course the less you take in in your diet the better. Our bodies make it's own in the liver and other organs, and yes, we need some of it. A total fasting cholesterol reading of less then 200 is good. That's the combined readings of HDL and LDL.
You could stand to pump up the calories to 2000 and not have to worry about your weight....
Keep up some sort of exercise program and kick in a little more protein.
