depends on your goals bro.

i am 6"1, 238 pounds, and extremely active. but my goals are to build muscle and get stronger, so i consume about 4,500 calories.

if you want to stay kind of neutral, 3,000 is right.

if you want to lose weight, simply burn more calories than you eat. i would guess around 2,000 to 2,500, but that depends how active you are.

yep , general rule to maintain your weight is multply your weight in pounds by 15

this is the amount of calories you need to stay the same size

15 x 212 =3180 calories

No 5,000 calories seems about right.

I think it depends on your age, activity level, genes etc. I also think you should consult with a nutrionist/dietician if you're very concerned.

In my opinion its better to take 100 to 150 claories which is better, because 3000 is too much and if your not satisfied with 100 calories then exercise on the treadmill and lose them or if you chose the 3000 calories then also exercise the treadmill to lose the calories and then do the same everyday

No. It sounds like too much in my humble opinion. Depending on your lifestyle, activity, ht, wt, BMI (body mass index). The normal requirements for a person is a minimum of 1200 calories a day. If you are active, work out, run, lift weights, etc, you need more to replace all that you burn off. There is much to be considered when factoring diet. Age is a major determinate as well. Call your local Public Health or family doctor and simply ask them where you should be. Even better, call your personal physician, tell them your height weight, ask them how much you've grown and or gained since your last visit, and ask them if you are on target. If you've missed the mark (good or bad) ask them what you can do to improve. Heads up.... to increase muscle mass and weight; increase carbs, weight training, cardio, protein supplement, eat 5-6 small meals a day. To decrease BMI; minimum carbs, reduce caloric intake, exercise at least 3 times a week, lots of water, plenty of sleep, core strengthening, and vitamins

for the guys it is 1200-1400 calories. the girls is 1100-1300
