Will i still be able to??!


Question: lose belly fat and maybe gain slight abs even though I don't run? this is my workout routine...

I'm 18.female.5'4-5'5ish.131lbs.

I do 50 minutes worth of pilates every other day, and 60 minutes of cardio on the days that I don't have pilates.


Pilates days I start with stretching then...
10 minutes of pilates ab
10 minutes of pilates sculpting whole body
10 minutes pilates buns & thighs
10 minutes pilates burn working my whole body
10 minutes of pilates flex



Cardio days I start with stretching then...
100 jumping jacks
25 deep knee bends
25 lunges (on each leg)
25 squats
25 push ups
25 oblique crunches (getting rid of love handles)
25 torso twists (getting rid of love handles)
25 toe touches
10 minutes running up and down a flight of stairs

I watch my diet, I don't eat junkfood, sweets, soda. I drink lots of watch, juice and gatorade and I also chew sugarfree gum when I'm hungry.

sounds great, congrats on getting healthy. one suggestion is to avoid the gatorade unless you're doing endurance work, since it's filled with fast energy that will convert to fat unless it's used.

You are on the right track, it just might take a while. Sometimes television ads and the movie stars make it look easy when in fact it does take some time. But you will feel alot better about yourself knowing you are being healthier!
