Will doing weighted push ups help with my bench press?!

Question: I think cross training enhances any routine, however you need to rest those muscle groups as you probably know. Dips and flys would help as well. I never competed but use to lift quite a bit. I found out the hard way that I needed to rest a day in order to rebuild the muscle. If your into powerlifting rather than bodybuilding you may not want to get to bulky. powerlifting requires a different approach and I can't be specific because I'm from the old school. things have changed.

Hello buddy, I am in the Army so doing push-ups is a thing I must complete daily. Just keep doing push-ups and vary them by doing them with one leg up or elevated....good luck and just push yourself

yes it will. but most of all it will make your chest more toned, not stronger. it will also help you balance the weights when using free weights. what i recommend is doing the bench press one day then push ups the next, take a day off than repeat the cycle.
