5 Coffe's (w/caffiene) or 1 water?!

water is better, maybe 2 waters, or if u want the energy, one water and a sports drink.

water definatiely. some coffee is ok but when you drink 5 cups thats whole bunch of extra caffine in your body. water doesn't have extra stuff in it and its healthy (your body needs it. as a compromise i would go with water down coffee

Caffeine dehydrates you (seriously, think of how often you have to pee when you drink it compared to other liquids), and five cups certainly seems like a whole bunch. Water, on the other hand, hydrates you (stating the obvious here, sorry). So when it comes between the two, while coffee has several decent nutrients, if you plan on doing physical activity, doing so while dehydrated will yield less-than-ideal results, so I highly recommend water over coffee.

I don't understand the presence of the 5:1 ratio, since I'd imagine you could afford water much easier than coffee.
