How much weight can I lose in one month?!

Question: I'm 14, 5'6" and 118 pounds.
If I work out once for about 30 minutes everyday...(this includes cardio + strength moves), how much weight can I lose in one month?

i don't think that you should be worried about losing weight at all because you sound like you're perfectly fine.

losing weight also depends upon how you're eating, too.

i would think losing about 2 pounds a month is a healthy goal. i wouldn't shoot for anymore than that. the fact that you exercise is an awesome thing for your body and since you're active, i wouldn't be too concerned about losing anything. plus, muscle weighs more than fat.

eta: i think working out 2 hours a day is a little much. 30 minutes is more than what most people do in a week & you're doing good fitting that in everyday.

hollyy crap. your light for your height!!

the most you should loose is 5 pounds.

just excersize for 2 hours a day including crunches sit ups and also runnning for 30 minutes

If you weigh only 118 at 5'6" it would be unhealthy for you to loose weight. As it is you're toward the low end of your ideal weight range. Please, don't let ANYBODY tell you that you're overweight. And PLEASE don't think you need to be as toothpick skinny as some of the models you might've seen in magazines. I haven't seen a picture of you but I know just by your weight that you're just fine!

You don't need to lose weight! Just eat healthy. You're only 14, you're going to gain weight soon anyway as you develop. You can't grow hips and boobs and a butt if you starve yourself! And trust me, you're going to WANT those eventually :)

Too skinny is NOT attractive!! You're probably healthy now, if you lose anymore you're going to be underweight and unhealthy.
