Sun Chips are not as bad as others, because they are baked.

You need to use whole grain foods, brown rice, and whole grain pasta.

NO white bread, pasta or rice!

Eat nutrient-dense whole foods and you will feel less hungry.

Your body needs nutrition, the foods you mentioned have no nutrition.

You get fat eating the foods you mentioned, not lose weight. They make you crave more, because your body craves vitamins and minerals, not just filler.

Healthy foods...no white starches at all. Whole wheat only and if it is a baked chip then its better but may still not be the best.

Fresh fruit and vegetables, brown rice, wholemeal bread, fresh fish, fresh meat, etc are good for you . the things you mention are called processed foods, and generally should be avoided because they contain bad ingredients such as sugar, salt, and the wrong fats.

You don't want to cut out ALL junkfoods. That is what causes people to fall off the diet wagon. They deprive themselves of the "good stuff", then binge on it because they miss it. Allow yourself one day week to have some snacks, but as always, in moderation. Breads, rices, and other starchy foods are good for energy, but again, do not over-indulge. The best way to lose weight is a well balanced diet and exercise. The food pyramid is a really great guide to maintaining a healthy weight, but with all the diet fads, it's value has been lost somewhere along the way.
