Why won't ANYONE ANSWER MEE? MWUAHHHH?!

Question: Please answer the question and don't go off topic. Please, I'm begging you. I know exercise is incorporated with dieting. I already researched about dieting and it's benefits/harm. So Please Stay On- topic:

Since I want to lose 1 pound each week.(3,500 calories) I should lose about 500 calories each day. So. Can I reduce my calorie intake by 500 calories each day and lose 1 pound each week? Again.., please stay on topic. I'm wandering If I can lose 1 pound each week by dieting and reducing my calorie intake by 500 Calories. So my usual calorie intake is about 2,000 calories. So starting tomorrow, I'm gonna make it to 1,500 calories. With 500 calories less. So if it does work, I will lose 1 pound each week. Is this whole plan Possible? Please stay ON topic. Stay on the subject and answer my question. Please don't say anything else besides the answer to my question.

YES that will work. Lowering your calorie intake is the best way to lose weight, but eventually you'll stop losing weight with that amount (1500) and will have to either go lower to lose more, or excerise.
KEEP IN MIND: If you begin excerising, you will put on muscle mass so it may appear you're not losing any weight at all.
I'm assuming you're not overweight because a 2k calorie intake isn't that high for a guy.
The best way to see if you're losing weight is to take a picture and compare later. Muscles could confuse the results.

Yes, it is possible. However, when you start to lose weight, your body will need less calories to function. Therefore, you will have to start from a lower number than 2000. You might only burn 1800 once you start losing, so you'll have to keep decreasing what you eat. That's why people always mention exercise in conjunction with diet. But 500 calories a day less will = a pound lost a week, more or less.

That will work. for sure

supposedly that is how it should go. So yes. You need to exercise too though so you can make sure you're loosing that 1 lb each week.

Honestly stop stressing about counting calories. I think the best way to lose weight is simple. Start by dropping out some of your bad things, such as maybe your biscuits with your cup of tea. swap for fruit ect. And ask for vegies instead of fries with your meal. Replacing a few bad things for other things will help alone. Also, keep on your feet. I eat alot of small meals a day that way i dont feel deprived. I hope this helps.

Yes, the whole plan is possible

yes, it will work, unless you are already a yoyo dieter.

yoyo dieting makes this less possible, the more you diet.

What are you, compulsive or something? Do you know that you said "stay on topic" 4 times in two paragraphs? What gives?

yes it is, i've even heard people do that before.

Wait a sec... what are you trying to do? I'm reading your question and I'm not sure I understand you.

I had the flu and of course that had an impact on my appetite. Of course, while sick with the flu I got a cold. I took over the counter cold meds and seudafed, which had an even worse impact on my appetite. I just didn't notice what was happening. I was only eating maybe once a day, and one morning after sitting on the pot staring at the scale on the bathroom floor I decided to weigh myself. I lost almost 14 pounds in 21 days. I kid you not. I am not a fatty in the first place. Since then I quit the cold meds and got my appetite back. Today, I went to Carl's Jr and had a $6 burger with a side of onion rings. I put all the onion rings on the hamburger and ate it like that. I had fries too, and a big coke. After that I stopped at Safeway on the way home and bought a pound of tapioca pudding and ate all of it and drank a quart of vanilla soy milk. I had half a loaf of french bread and some marvelous french cheese before dinner. I had some not bad lasagne from Trader Joes, as well as 15 Gino's pizza rolls. Thinking back to this morning I ate 4 strawberry pop-tarts with my coffee. On the walk to the train station I bought a big cranberry morning bun and ate it on the train. I also ate a big bag of nuts and raisins and granola type of stuff because I was thinking I might get bound up from eating all this fatty food. I've been eating like this for the past 4 days. It has been wonderful. I even put on 1.5 pounds. I'm gonna get to eat like a pig for weeks before I get that weight back.

To accurately answer your question, I have a few questions.

1. What type of foods do you eat to equate to 2000 calories per day?

2. Did you gain or lose weight at the current 2000 calorie diet?

Hi! It actually depends on your body. The minute you start holding calories from the body, it backfires and uses defenses to hold it. You must trick the body. Go down about 100 calories the first 3 days. Eat in small bites and don't restrict what you want to eat. Eat what you like, but just keep it to a few bites. Eat slowly and don't drink liquid until you are done. Drink 1 oz. of cranberry juice mixed with 8 oz. of water about 6 times a day. Drink before you eat also. The most important thing to do is STOP eating after 6:30 pm. If you are really hurting for food, eat a piece of whole wheat bread and 1 quarter cup of milk. Warmed up if possible. that insulates your stomach from acid at night. When you counted your calories you forgot one thing. At night, you use about 450 calories just sleeping. If you don't want to exercise, breathe deeply 5 times and do it as many times during the day as you can. This burns fat buy upping oxygen. You will lose weight for the first few weeks. This is mostly water, not the real stuff. You will plateau when the body gets confused with what's going on. Just hold in there. Don't go lower on calories than 1200. If you go lower, the body will fight harder to hold the fat cells. Also you can do damage to your organs and tissues. Then your body won't be able to make fat and muscle ratios correctly. You will just loose boobs and brain cells. If you have enough money, get a massage every week. The French woman do that and they have much less cellulite. When you get depressed and binge, just start again the next day. We all struggle so much with our body image. Good Luck!

Actually, it's not the calories that you are curring outk but it's the iitems that you ate cuttng out that te goihg to make the differece, You cah cut out all the calories you want and eat and eat almot nothing and lose no weightk or ou can eat a lot of food the right things for you, and you will be amazed at how much you cah losdl'
