I don't know. How much do you weigh? You might be completely normal to other people. If it bothers you, cut back your calorie intake, exercise and drink lots of water. There are fitness DVDs out there and trainers. It can be hard to get the weight back off, sometimes. When you get older, your body slows down and so, the fat takes more time to burn off. If you starve yourself and start eating, you put the weight back on twice as much. Eat healthily and don't exercise too much, as this can strain your muscles. For more tips on everything, try doing a GOOGLE and checking there for healthy ways to slim down. Some methods work better than others.

I used to do the below. You can use weights or tins of food or bottles of water, anything! I used to do it for half an hour, each day. Keep at it and you will drop a few pounds each week, not too little and not too much and the healthy way to do it.

Maybe you aren't exercising the best you can or you're eating the wrong kinds of foods.
Experiment with different diets and exercises.
Aerobic exercises generally work best.

The key is: Diet Diet Diet, then exercise:

You need to eat 5-6 small meals a day. Eat some protein with each meal! Cut out all refined sugar!!! Also add more fiber. The fiber and protein will fill you up, helping you to cut down on your unhealthy eating. Also by eating more than 3 meals spread out through the day you will kick your metabolism in high gear. Here is a general meal for a day:

Breakfast: 2 poached eggs
whole wheat toast
1/2 cup fruit

Snack: Cottage Cheese with veggie

Lunch: Turkey, lettuce, tomato, whole wheat bread sandwich
1/2 cup fruit

Snack: Protein Shake

Dinner: Turkey Burger ( no bun )
Side of brown rice
Side of Broc.

Then exercise regularly 4-5 days a week. Do both cardio and lifting. But on days that you do both. Do lifting before your cardio and you will maximize your fat burn. Cardio can be a sport: basketball, soccer, football, anything with losts of movement. Golf is a no no.

So Example :

Monday - 30 mins lifting then 1 hr cardio
Tuesday - 1 hour lifting
Wednesday - Rest
Thrusday - 30 mins lifting then 1 hr cardio
Friday - 1 hour lifting
Saturday - Rest
Sunday - 30 mins lifting then 1 hr cardio

The answer is diet and exercise. My husband who is overweigh got a lecture from our shrink about 2 weeks ago. For men more thah for for woman the two go hand in hand. You don,t have to do hour and hour of excercise, but enough to break into a sweat.
We are both on the South Beach Diet over here, andd I must say at the beging I could't believe how quickly the weight came offl I just had surgery so some of it came back, but its going alreadyl you do have to try to teach yourseof to eat a little different But you'lll be thin and healful

Hi, I have started to see a Health trainer who works for the government. I have been given advice on foods, salts, fats. No food is off limits. You are made to be more aware of foods and their effects on your body. I was told I am not eating enough! Apparently, you should only reduce your food intake by 500 calories a day untill your system gets used to it otherwise it thinks you are not getting enough food and stores it as fat. Below are links to the same advice as I have been given. Good luck.
p.s. also, give yourself andyour tastebuds/system a couple of weeks to get used to eating new foods
