A cheat meal when dieting and trying to lose weight?!


Question: How often can I have a consistent "cheat meal" while dieting and exercising and not have it really effect me? For example, once a week? Assuming every other meal you ate that day was light and healthy.

once a week would be great! As a nurition and dietetics major, I have to say that everyone strays from their diets every now and again. One of the best things you can do is plan it ahead of time. It makes for a great motivator the rest of the week and will help you keep close tabs on how much you really cheat in a diet.

I allow myself one cheat meal a week and I've lost ten pounds in a month.

I have sugar free jello and light whipped cream..0 carbs

Yes! Once a week as long as you don't turn it into an all day thing. Try twice a week and see if it affects your progress.
