Guys: 5'7" and 140 lbs...Is this fat?!

Question: I'm 30 with 2 kids....but before baby #2 I was around 123 lbs. I just can't seem to get that last 15 lbs off. My husband is super fit so I worry about my weight more than I might otherwise. Do most people think that 5'7 and 140 lbs is too much. I have a flat stomach and pretty muscular arms. I just seem to keep the weight in my butt and thighs. Is this too fat?

Absolutely not, with two kids and 30....wow. Remember too.. If you exercise a lot, muscle weighs more than fat...

no thats just normal

no its about average

I dont really think that's fat. That's good if you have muscular arms. I'm also 5'7, but I weigh 116. I'm a string.

not fat

its normal, you shouldn worry bout other guys anyway, your married.... =] run to loose it.

You're normal. (see the links below, especially the second link)

Not at all.......it may not be supermodel size, but do you really want that.

As soon as the weather breaks and it becomes warmer, walking or bike riding will burn off any extra pounds. Exercise.

nah thats actually a good weight...have confidence u had 2 kids and still prob look good...try to lose a few pounds maybe...but dont obsess over it...ur husband loves u no matter what and so do ur kids ...thats all that matters..i use this scale that my doctor recommended....she said u should healthy if u at the right weight....she said: at 5'0" you should be 100 pounds then u add 5 pounds for every inch over 5 foot ....so in ur case 135 would be ur idealistic weight...but im sure u look fine

The healthy weight range for women at 5' 7" is 121-160 so you are fine at 140.

The rule of thumb to determine average weight is to start off with 100 pounds for the first 5 feet then add 5 pounds for each additional inch of height. Following that 5'7" ends up at 135 lbs so you're really close.

There is a great weight chart at the web site I listed.

You are not fat. At your height, 130 lbs would be ideal.

At 5'7 your ideal weight would be 135 lbs so 140 lbs is OK
