Weight question..?!


Question: okay I am 15 and 5-5 and 112 pounds. I am the tallest of my friends but also the heaviest. Is it just becuase I'm taller becuase all my other friends are like 5-3 and 105 so am I normal in weight with my height?

You do not need to lose ANY weight. As a matter of fact for your height you are only a few lbs. from being under weight. According to the BMI calculator, your bmi should be between 18.5-24.9... Your weight is at 18.6. To be in this range at your weight you should weigh between 111-150 lbs. So hunny, you are super thin and might even need to put a little meat on those bones.

Taller also = heavier, your young too. Fogeta bout it.

Usually the taller you are, the more you weigh. Sounds like your very thin. Be happy with your body. Don't compare yourself, and don't focus on numbers; focus on health.

It is definitly because you are taller! Each inch adds about 5 lbs average to your body. It would be simply unhealthy for you to weigh as much as them and be taller. I know, I'm 5-10!

Yes, it could be other things but not stomach! I am talking about different things...

ur really under weight...im 5'9 and i weigh 144...ur usppose to weigh 100 lbs at 5' and plus 5 lbs for every inch...ur suppose to weigh 125 atleast

You are not overweight by any means. In fact you are probably a little underweight. Biggest thing you need to remember is that you need to be healthy and able to love the person you see in the mirror.

Don't compare your weight with others. Some people retain water making them weigh more. Muscle is heavier than fat so a toned person would weigh more than a person who is more flab.

You height and weight are at a good level. You sound like you are slim. With time the others may grow to be as tall or taller than you. Some people are still growing later in their teens.

Eat lots of fruits and vegetables and get a moderate amount of exercise. Try to stay away from too much junk food. Stay healthy!
