Push-ups, pull-ups if you have a bar anywhere. Don't try a tool box or books or anything like that, it wouldn't be safe because of awkward size/ shape. Push-ups are definately the best way to build your arms, try a few sets of 20 to start out with, and go up from there

Like the others said, push-ups, pull-ups. Then there are also chair dips.
Another thing to look into is Dynamic Tension. You can build nice definition with these techniques, but generally won't build bulk like you would with weights. Simple excercises with dynamic tension would be to wrap one towel around each hand to join them together. Then you perform curls with one hand while the other is providing the negative resistance. This builds the bicep on the arm performing the curl, and builds the tricep of the arm providing the negative resistance.
