Strict Diet and exercise for four months and lost about 15 lbs?!

Question: I'm feeling discouraged I diet and exercise regularly, but sometimes I get off course and stop running and eat junk for like a few days. Like the last day i've been eating nothing but junk food and stopped exercising.
I weighed 230 lbs a few months ago now I weigh 215 i feel like i'm not making a lot of progress, i wanna lose 30 MORE lbs for the summer do you think this is possible?

Its more than possible.. especially for a guy. Do you weight train? By doing that you add muscle and it speeds up your metabolism which is just an all around benefit.

I really think these previous answers are funny. 30 lbs in 4 months is going to be touch. geez... i've had guy friends who needed to lose 40 or 50 lbs drop it in 2 months or even a bit less. Guys lose weight so quickly..especially when they're weight training and doing cardio as well. I had one friend change nothing but adding weight training and dropped 20 lbs in one month. geez ppl!

You will need to b very committed but you might. Since you've already lost some weight it will be harder to lose the last 10 or so pounds. But be commited and stay with what your doing because it seems to be working. gaining weight takes time and it seems lyk twice as long b4 you loes it.

Well, if you are falling off the bandwagon frequently, then you will not see the progress you want...

But keep in mind that weight is not the only change you will see- in reality, if you have lost 15 pounds, you have in all likelihood actually lost 20-25 pounds, and gained 5-10 pounds of muscle. Muscle is denser than fat, so two people who weigh the same can have remarkably different builds, depending on how much muscle they have.

30 pounds in four months is going to be tough, but if you get on a diet, STAY on the diet, and keep up your exercise, you will see the improvements, and be more motivated to keep going.

Good luck.
