If you have bought into the Low Fat, High Carb diet, you will not lose weight without starving yourself and damaging your body like many Americans are doing.

To lose "stored fat" that is actually the fat you want to lose and not the fat around muscles and other organs that comes right back after you have starved yourself, you will need to change how you look at food and fat. What you are going through is typical of Americans on food they get from the Mausoleums where dead food is stored in cold containers and in cans and boxes made to look pretty.

You need to digest your food well and your body is very good at this when you treat it with quality foods. Your body is all about balance and when it gets out of balance, both physically and emotionally, it affects how food is processed and digested.

If you listen to the so called "food experts" that are nothing more than "hired guns" of the food industry dressed up to look professional, but just fancy sales people promoting the ridiculously non nutritive garbage, dead food, you will have a very hard time losing weight.

There is a very good book for you to read that will explain why you need to eat fat to lose fat. This is good solid information that will help you to understand why you can't lose beyond a certain point. The stored fat is the last fat to leave unless you understand why it is there, how to get rid of it, etc.

Your heart is surrounded by saturated fat and uses saturated fat for energy to function. The body cannot make endocrine hormones if you are deficient in fats. These hormones have a lot to do with how you lose weight. The book is called, "Life Without Bread" by Christian Allan, Ph.D.

Also, follow the Glycemic Load Charts and not the Glycemic Index charts for best results on food amounts. 75 grams of carbs on the Glycemic Load chart will give you the best results. So understand what fats are good, eat those and in the right quantities and then follow the Glycemic Load charts, you will benefit greatly by this.

good luck

once your body gets into routine then it is time to switch it up again. Once your body has figured out your routine it has adjusted to it. Try a new work out plan and continue the healthy eating and that should work.

Lose only has one o

You dont usually see any signs of weight loss that are permanent untill about 6 weeks after you begin excericising and eating healthy. If you're normally active maybe you just aren't going to lose weight as fast as you used to. Don worry, it always takes a while for signs to show.

how many calories do you take in a day?
cus if you dont have enough then your body will convert more of the food you eat into stored fat than normal, making it difficult to shift.
if i remember right you should be taking in at least 1500 calories a day

You may not be losing weight, because you're body doesn't need to lose weight. Not all of us can be super thin; your genetics determines this. If you eat healthy and exercise, your body will get to it's healthy size. Also, if this isn't the case, try to count the total fat grams you eat in a day. You should be eating less than 40 total fat grams per day. Even though you think you're eating healthy, you may not be due to the fat grams that are hidden in almost everything we eat.

You may want to go to your doctor and ask him for the name of a good nutritionist. In my experience, not every diet works for every person. With the help of both your doctor and a nutritionist, they can run bloodwork to ensure there are no problems with your thyroid, or signs of diabetes, and then tailor a plan just for you!

Best of luck dear.

Eating super health is one thing, quite another is the equation of intake calories and burned calories. Simply reduce as much as possible the intake of calories and increase the burning of calories as much as possible. But remember, this has to be done in a balanced way, without starving yourself. Another possibility is that you are retaining water. See a doctor.

I agree with trouble switch your workout up a little change the diet up some as well.

Everyone's body reacts differently to diet and exercise. Some people start losing weight right away, and for others it can take weeks. Sometimes it depends on how much you weigh starting off. Give yourself some time, and maybe try switching up your routine just a little bit each time you exercise. You'll start seeing it soon if you are doing the right things. Good luck! :)

how long have you been working out?

You haven't lost any weight or you are not losing weight fast enough?

You need to to 30 minutes of cardio to start
then do weight training, the more muscle you build the more calories you burn.

also eat a big breakfast...it gets your metabolism pumped to work overtime, eat a smaller lunch and an even smaller dinner. don't eat after 8pm have healthy snacks in between meals to keep your body burning fat efficiently.

drink plenty of water. you may just be at a plateau, be patient and keep on working out.

cut out some crabs in your diet, no bread and only rice and potatoes a couple times a week.

try over the counter diet pills, u might not be pushing yourself hard enought, that's what my trainer says about women.

As any diet or fitness program recommends ask your doctor . If you have been on the program for a while and haven't had any results, your Dr. can check your blood sugar level and your thyroid among other testing. There are physical reason that some people cannot lose weight regardless of the effort.

You say, I eat "super healthy." That is your problem.
It is not only what you eat, but how much.
It may be more healthy to eat roast chicken, but not the
"whole" d@mb bird. <}:-})

If you are not loosing weight, then you are still eating more then you are burning off. Eating healthy will not make you loose weight. You have to take in fewer calories then your body burns.
