What does it mean if you're shaky after a workout?!


Question: i feel jittery and shaky. I've been drinking a lot of water and i just got done an intense workout. What's wrong with me? I'm not hungry BTW

It sounds like your blood sugar dropped too low.

It could be a couple of things:
Maybe you overexerted yourself
You might not be eating properly.
Or, you could have a pancreatic disorder.

Most likely, you just pushed yourself too hard. If you continue to have problems with shakiness after exercise, or you start getting shaky at times when you're not physically exerting yourself, you might want to consult a doctor to make sure you're not hypoglycemic.

youve worked your body too hard! go a bit easier next time and make sure youve had enough food/water

Maybe you are just low on blood sugar after the workout...

Next time fill up on more carbs...

Dunno. I think it's normal. After I get done with Krav Maga, my right hand shakes. Maybe cuz I'm punching and kneeing stuff...hm...but I'm pretty sure it's normal. It hasn't cause me any problems besides my hand shaking a little bit.

Or just listen to the first guy. But they give us water breaks...and I eat 2 hours before I workout...ehh....I dunno.
