What are some good ways to do cardio??!


Question: i've heard that doing cardio burns fat everywhere, threrefore, i want to do it. i run 20 min everyday. but i fell like i should be doing something else, what are some other ways to do cardio, other than swimming and stuff cause i dont have a pool, and i cant just get up and go hiking or something like that, ya know? im limited in what i can do....thank you.

interval training, but make sure that you mix it up so you dont get bored, basically you walk at a moderate pace for 30 to 60 sec then you sprint for 30 to 60 sec, if you can add incline to this it will burn more calories and give you a better workout, inclines as in hills or steps. also squats i do up to 500 a day, and an hours cardio

While serving in the military we were subjected to something called "pole lining."

Basically is means:
when your outdoors start sprinting as fast as you can for the distance of 2 pole lines.
Then stop sprinting and walk for the distance between 1 pole line.
Now off you go again sprinting all out for the two pole lines.

Continue this as long as you can.

It will kill you in the beginning but your anerobic & arerobic levels will drastically improve, all while buring tons of calories.

Running is good. There's also biking. I've tried billy blanks tae bo. That really gave me a good workout and you'll feel the results the next day believe me..lol. How about mixing up your running exercises. I've heard of a certain program from muscle media in which every 2 minutes you start off walking and then jogging for 2 minutes and back to walking. You would start off in 2 minute intervals and then the following day or so you can change it to every 3 minutes

Contrary to popular belief cardio is not the best way to burn fat as it only really burns it up whilst you are working out.

If you do resistance training (weights) you burn fat for a much longer period of time than you do by doing simple cardio.
