How can i get myself to stop eating??!


Question: I eat sooo much food and I want to stop. How can I stop. I can do it for a day or two but then I give in. How can I stop this?

i try to remember how i feel on my 'ugly days' when i see myself in the mirror, or i try to think about my boyfriend. and then i remember that i have to stop the eating for myself.

i distract myself by turning up music and dancing in front of the mirror (andddd, when im done i just 'feel' skinnier because of all the working out, heat, and my stomach goes down easily)

i also think about my cousin who was really skinny, but now is overweight only because she kept eating from boredom and now regrets it like hell...

you dont always have to walk into fire to realise how hot it actually is =]

stop buying food! haha! its the only way! you have to chnage the way you look at food

I want to know the answer to that also.

to stop eating so much pretend your favorite food is really something you hate and that should stop you form eating it because it should turn you right away

welll never eva stop eating for a period of two days just not healty but to help u out it is mostly in ur head most likly when u eat a lot it is because u are bored so find some activties and if u still find ur self eatin a lot try to eat healthy food not junk

Well, if you mean by eating when full to, then try to make out a meal plan, like 6 smaller meals a day, or something like that. But you just have to try and keep yourself from doing so, it's self control. Maybe try to eat more veggies instead of reaching for other unhealthy foods? If thats the case.....
but if your still a teen and not over weight, I wouldn't worry to much about it because you might still be growing. :)

Dont totally stop eating for a day or two!!!! thats crazy. Eat healthy foods and excersice and then you wont binge like crazy.

close your mouth and dont open it . Just kidding you should get involved in something so your mind is off food.

i would bring less food.... or buy food that is less appitizing

I really hope that you're asking how to stop eating in large quantities and not just how to stop eating altogether. Humans can't live without food-I'm sure you know this. And it's extremely unhealthy to develop an eating disorder. I believe that if you eat under 1,000 calories a day than you're considered anorexic. This can lead to many serious health issues and can cost you your life. It won't make you pretty, it won't make you popular, you won't be able to wear that swim suit you've been dying to get into because you'll be in a hospital bed. In case you actually are trying to become anorexic...I don't think I should offer any advice on how to stop eating so much...even if that's what you actually meant.

And, if you were afterall just trying to find out how to eat a smaller, healthier amount of food- I'm sorry for preaching to you! Your question was sort of confusing.

I binge all the time.. Instead of eating full meals I will eat a bag of potato chips all day.. I guess it's part of my stress.. If I don't buy the chips can't eat them right? So only buy things you really have to prepare. This way you don't eat soooo much ..

eat salads! i love salad! lol

and if u chew ur food then it sends a message to ur brain that tells u ur full!
