What's the big deal with all these 100% juices?!
Question: By looking at the back of the label I have found that many 100% juices contain a significant amount of more sugar. For instance Oceanspray's cranberry and grapefruit juices are about 120 cals. But the 100% juice contain about 140 cal. per serving.
v8 splash= about 70 cals per serv. w/high fructose syrup
v.fusion= about 120 cals. per serv. no added sweetners
So why go 100 % juice when you are getting more cals. And about as much sugar. Howbeit a different kind of sugar?

The sugar in 100% juice is naturally occurring. Punches and cocktails are basically flavored water with a lot of added sugar. At least with the juice, you're getting a fruit serving.
