46-year-old man hungry all the time, eating every 3 hours??!

Question: I am 46 years old, 6'0", 185 lbs., work out with weights 3-4 times per week for about an hour each time, work at home (rarely anything more strenuous than working at the computer), no signs of parasites, it's been going on for months, and I'm under a little stress from a lot of savings and credit going into a new manufacturing business. I sleep 8 hours or more per night.

I'm most interested in comments from men in similar situations or from people with some diet and nutrition training.

Is it normal for me to be eating so much?? I have rarely eaten this much since I was a teen.

Thanks.

it is pefectly normal and good for you also. if u lift weights, you want to eat 6-8 meals a day to stay anabolic. i eat every 2.5-3.5 hours and actually am hungry even more than that. u may as well use it to ur advantage. eat tons of protein and complex carbs just make sure that u r eating clean throughout the day and cut out carbs after 7:00 pm. if u had a parasite, u would not have much of an appetite(i researched since i am so hungry all the time lol)

i am constantly hungry i EAT ALL THE TIME,need to replenish,I'd say your fine no worries.

Go to your doctor and have a physical done...to be on the safe side. They need to check your thyroid level. Unless you are working out so much that you are burning your calories that rapidly, this is a change for you and could very well be an indicator of something going on with your body. Stress of course can cause an increase in appetite as can depression. Men also go through a mid life crisis type of thing just like women do. I highly suggest that you see a doctor, also making sure to have them check your colon....we are seeing alot of colon cancer in younger people now days and early detection is the key to survival. Better that you be safe than sorry!! Good luck!
