How many calories do you burn by drinking 10 bottles of water a day?!

Question: im on a diet, and i heard your supposed to drink tons of water

Answers: im on a diet, and i heard your supposed to drink tons of water

Actually, your body does burn calories a little quicker if you drink really cold or really hot water because your body is trying to regulate the temperature you are consuming, so by "heating" up the water you are ingesting, it's allowing your body to "burn" calories to maintain the energy to do so. Make any sense? Honest truth. It speeds your metabolism up.

None.

None, you don't burn calories by drinking water. ITs good for you though so dont stop.

It's not about burning calories. It's about flushing toxins from your system and keeping hydrated. It will help you lose weight, but not because it burns calories. Keep it up.

Although note there is little scientific evidence to support that drinking that much water has any substantial benefit over drinking a lesser (but still adequate) amount.

Yes you should but you can also kills yourself from too much water. As for calories burned--the same amount you burn by doing nothing which I think is something like two per minute.

you are supposed to drink tons of water but NOT because water makes you burn calories. it doesn't. water allows your liver to function properly in its roll of mobilizing fat when you exercise and/or go on a diet. when you are dehydrated your kidneys can not well enough to remove all the toxins from your body so your liver must divert its energy to helping out the kidneys otherwise you would die from toxin build up. therefore it can only mobilize fat for you to burn off half as quickly, the end result being you lose weight more slowly or not at all depending on how dehydrated you are. its estimated that 90% of americans are in a constant state of dehydration! so keep drinking water!

How big are the bottles? If you drink it really cold you'll burn a little bit more energy, but if you drink tons of water you can screw up your electrolyte balance and die. Drinking 2 litres is enough. Mostly you need to drink more water when you're dieting because it stops you eating quite so much, and also because most people lose lots of weight in their 1st week, which is mostly just water as opposed to proper fat loss.

you dont burn calories by drinking water.......

You aren't going to burn much extra calories other than the very frequent trips to the bathroom you must be making. All that water also keeps you feeling fuller so you want to eat less.

How big are those bottles though? Frankly it sounds like you might be overdoing it a bit.
