Homemade sandwiches are a great option for school lunch. Use wholemeal bread if possible, lightly spread with butter and add a selection of fillings, varying them from day to day to keep yourself interested. I would suggest lean cooked meat, e.g. ham, chicken breast, salami, turkey, whichever you prefer. Add some salad, eg tomato, lettuce, red pepper, onion or bean sprouts, and mayo. As a change from meat some days use tuna, cheese or hard-boiled eggs, also with plenty of salad for taste and vitamins/fibre etc.

For pudding take a banana, apple, satsuma or sprig of grapes, again for vitamins, etc. You coud also include a yoghurt or similar, plus a smoothie or fresh juice to drink. The occasional bag of crisps or doritos would also be good, to keep it interesting and for added calories.

Another good option is make a pasta salad with tuna, salmon, cheese, brocolli whatever you prefer, and take it in an air-tight box to school. Some crusty bread would go well with it, and don't forget your fork!

These are all quick, easy and inexpensive with the benefits of being very good for you and filling you up.

You should bring a sandwhich, maybe with ham and some lettuce on it.
Also bring some fruit and some nuts.
if you want to gain some weight, bring a packet of crisps or a small bar of chocolate, but not everyday

well eat normally, or maybe a little more than usual
and do weight training.

bring a ham and cheese sandwich and a small bag of chips and a piece of fruit

sanwiches on whole wheat bread, turkey, no mayo, just tomato and lettuce. or take diced fruit

On a Sunday evening make up a big pot of soup! Take it to school in a flask if you dont have access to a microwave, aswell as sandwich and a piece of fruit. You will reach 5 a day no problem and will keep you going till dinner time!
