How many calories is this? will give 10 points?!

Question: I don't think I've eaten enough and I've not done it on purpose, can you tell me how much in calories I've eaten please...

Breakfast - bowl of special K with skimmed milk
tea - white pasta, tin of tuna with cheese on top.

I understand you cannot give me EXACT amount but average will be fine. I have been studying all day then I had a class so that accounts for the 'no lunch'
also no fruit and veg cause I have no money till thursday, so no lectures on that please!

thanks

I'd guess between 750 and 1000 calories. Depends on portion size.

start reading food labels

www.calorieking.com has calories for EVERYTHING.

The Right Answer > 1700 Cals

err 450 haha i don't have a clue

around 400 calories

430ish depending on the type of cheese

about 650-ish.

1655

you have to factor in more than you think- for fat you multiply however many grams times 9 and for carbs you multiply by 4.

Check out Fitday.com it has some very cool stuff on there and its free

Id say not too many really...
special K is suppose to help with weight loss, so it kinda makes the other foods calories kinda diplete.. think thats spelled right lol.. but id say no more than 400 calories... but calorie counting really doesnt work, just cause a food is based with high calories, doesnt mean they r bad calories... you prolly took n bout 400-450 calories an bout 150 of those calories, r prolly fat calories... but all together the meals you have ate today are not unhealthy for you....

Bowl of cereal and milk- 150 calories

Tea- nothing added in it and just tea- 0 calories

Pasta- depending on how much but average 210 calories

Tin of Tuna- 150 calories

Cheese- 60 calories

Roughly 570

Don't know the amounts you ate....but a good estimate on normal portions would be around 700 calories.

Special K and milk is pretty low cal, most likely 200-250 calories. Tea is about 30. Pasta if its a small portion is around 300-400 and tuna is about 230 but with cheese 350. Your looking at 980 calories for the day. Thats only about half your daily allowance.

This will answer all for you!!!!!!!

You didn't give the 'amounts' of the foods you ate, and it doesn't matter that much for just one day ... you are correct about having not enough fruit/veg today, but you should know that what you 'should do' is count everything you eat in TWO WEEKS and then 'divide' by 14, so you get an 'average caloric intake' ... so if you buy lots of fruit and veg, and you eat a bit more after Thursday, you'll be 'just right' in the end. If you eat a 'one cup serving' of the cereal with skimmed milk, and nothing else, it's about 140-150 calories. The 'white pasta' and can of tuna and cheese, if you ate a 'dinner plate' full was about 700-800 calories (more if mixed with 'butter' and 'milk') so you are 'correct' in that you haven't had 'enough' to eat today even though your 'tea' was 'calorie heavy' ... so eat a lunch tomorrow ... and if you have class then eat before or after, and you'll be FINE. Try to eat at least 1500 calories a day (average) if you want to lose weight (doing exercise, too, of course) and at least 2000 calories if you are trying to stay the weight you are now, and 2500 if you want to gain weight ... but AVERAGE the food you eat in two weeks, and don't pay that much attention to being 'over' or 'under' unless you eat under 1000 calories (as you have today) or over 3000 in any one day.

To be honest, you sound like a very busy person, so you shouldnt really worry about counting calories, I know for a fact that special K is only 100 calories, but i dont kno just how much of everything you ate to decide. There are certain portions of things that you have to take in for it to be what the nutrition labels say. Pasta is a very heavy food and it expands in your stomach so that's not something good to eat, also cheese isnt too good for you either. 1 more thing. im not asking you to drink water, but tea tears your kidneys up, so if you dont like water, then you can try flavored water. Flavored water has a sweet taste, but it uses splenda so it doesnt have any calores. Im a chef student and If you want i can give you alot of alternatives to help you.

Read the labels, Although Special K is suppose to be good for you there is actually around 500 calories per serving.

There isnt many calories in tuna but there are in White Pasta and loads in cheese if you are having mayo as well then you will be eating to many calories (compare to Recomended daily allowance)

Womans recomended daily allowance is 1800 calories which includes food, and drinks,

about 1082 Calories from what i gatherd ! :)

You're worried about calories? Gee, I would be more worried about eating real food if I were you -- Things with actual minerals and vitamins. You can't expect to lose weight if all your organs and tissues are in vitamin and mineral deficiency.

Well there you go. Check my link if you want to learn what foods are really good for you.

Well the breakfast would be around 130 calories

The tea is 1.8 calories

If by "white pasta" you mean a creamy sauce like alfredo or anything like that, one cup of that would equal 388.70 calories.

The tuna would be.. well there's a whole bunch of different types of canned tuna but the most regular would be about 338.60

and the cheese on top is.. well one slice would be around 78 calories.

making an estimate for.. 937.10 calories.

If you don't exercise anything at all you should eat like 2000 calories a day but if you are very active then bump it up to 2500 calories a day but if you want to lose about 1 or 2 pounds a week cut 500 calories from 2000 or 2500 calories every day to lose that weight.

You should definitely be eating more.

I think im not sure but i THINK its like 825-938 colories,
Thats Good,
But Bad.

maximum 600 calories. Well I have the same breakfast and it comes to about 150 calories (maybe a bit more-depends on how much you have!!!) Then your dinner...I would say thats at least 300/400 calories. So give or take a few here and there I would say between 400 and 600!!!

Depending on size of portion. +-700 No lectures, I know one eats what they have. But it looks low on fiber. Special k, just might so it. simple carbs from pasta, protean form tuna. Eggs are very good if you can get some. Going to class you need some brain food, and energy.God bless--Bea
