Do you know of a TEEN gym ???!

Question: Hi,
I'd really like to get into shape and lose a few pounds since i don't do swimming any more i have gained a bit of weight, i am 13 years old and i am deadly serious about joining a gym...i think it would be a great way to get kids to excercise more if large named gyms such as JJB and Fitness First would allow "children" over a certain age to join ... i live in Manchester and i wondered are there any gyms out there that let teens excercise there ...

Thanks ... (-:

Oh gawd yeah - please let there be a gym for 18's and under. Last night I couldn't get to a piece of equipment because all the yoofs were sitting on it, yakkity yakkin.

Was really annoying it was.

Mind you, they were quite sweet when I asked them to move. :)

YMCA
I live in Canada but found you some addresses for the YMCA in your city. There is likely an age you MUST be to be allowed to use the weights though. Most gyms won't let you work-out unless you are a certain age. Could be as old as 16 but probably only 12. Check to see at your locations.

YMCA. and of course your school.
