Should one eat before or after exercise?!
Question: I am doing a walking program and was wondering if eating something before would have any harm? It is a small meal nothing heavy.

I was told by a personal trainer to eat a small meal/snack about 1/2 - 45 minutes before you work out. Food gives you energy and you need it to keep going....so you don't crash after your work out. And drink lots of water after working out.
