Thin wrists?!

Question: My metabolism is insanely fast. I think my trainer told me I had less than 1-2% body fat and when I was once put on a 6000 calorie diet for several months with weight training, protein and doubling my meals etc, and I actually lost 6 pounds -____-

I'm not sure whether I should embrace this "gift" or not seeing as though I am muscular (lean muscle mostly) and am healthy for a teenager, my wrists have always remained thin throughout my life and led to a lot of insecurities. Also, people tend to judge me immediately by my thin wrists and I get a lot of joking even with friends and family that sometimes hurt and makes me feel immaculate. Ex.) "Anorexic, chopsticks, twig, etc."

I'm 5' 9" and weigh in at 137 ibs. So yeah I'm a little underweight. I know I should be thankful for my metabolism because I can eat literally anything I want and however much I want but is there any way to cope with insecurities. "Ignoring" and such aren't as easy as it sounds. Are there any exercises I can do?

Well the good news is your body fat is well over 1-2%, as that level of body fat is fatal. Extremely low levels of bodyfat are 6%, with the average male being around 18%. Abs show up at around 10%.

But, there isn't a lot of muscle at the wrist, so its hard to build up. You should concentrate on your biceps, triceps, and forearms, s well as grip strength to build up what you can. The best exercise for you will be reverse grip bicep curls and wrist curls.

Also, anything that helps grip strength will help the muscles in your hands and forearms. Like rock climbing or fencing/kendo.

To gain muscle, someone burning calories like you, would probably want to aim for 3500 calories (over that you're excreting most of it) and get a lot of protein in you, though you said it didn't work before.

Your metabolism will slow down with age. As for right now, I am so jealous....

I'm soooo jealous of you..i think its pretty normal..its all in your genes..ask your parents if they were like this. If they were then your probably fine. If not then you have a problem.
Also, if you arent trying to lose the weight or get skinny then you probably don't have a problem.

Try and eat a lot of protein and exercise an hour after you eat it so it is still in your system and can be used to make muscle off of. If this doesn't work try protein bars. Also try some of the sites i added. They look pretty helpful.
I hope all this helped you because you seem like you are really insecure and im insecure but for the opposite reason and i know what it is like and it is HE!! trying to ignore the comments....I hope all this helped you.

?
And always remember, G-d created us unique and you are special no matter what.???
