Why is it that when I don't eat fast food for a day I'll lose a pound or!

Actually I would guess the salt because your body retains water weight when you don't get enough water and have a lot of salt.

Because fast food is high in fat. You should eat it less often then every other day, I haven't had fast food in about 3 weeks.

fast food has fat eveywhere hiding and in huge numbers that u wont even imagine a normal kfc meal could easily be around 2000 calories now assuming that u eat fast food twice a day thats like 4000 calories (only an estimate of how much u eat) so ur body that day is getting used to 4000 calories + the other calories that u have eaten throughout the rest of the day ........ so it adjustes to burn off those calories, if u dont eat that for a day then ur body still has to adjust to ur new calorie intake of maybe 1500 which is 3500+ calories that u r burning not including any exercise that u do but yes it is quite fast
