Help. I need to lose 40 lbs.?!

Question: I'm male. I'm 24. I weigh 200 lbs. which i've maintained for awhile (but i've always walked several nights a week) but you would never guess I weigh that muchc by looking at me. Oddly I don't look chubby. I have a small gut and some fat in various areas of my body that I know I could tone like under my chin and legs. I can do 50 sit ups and push ups and I can jog 1/4 of a mile right now. I don't know how fit that says I am and if it's possible that I have muscle attributing to my weight more than I realize. Anyway, my ideal weight is supposed to be at 160 lbs. How can I lose 40 lbs. and how long will it take? I don't want to get really scronny. I'm looking to get moderately muscular, toned, and fit. Also, i'm supposed to consume 2000 calories a day, but I think I barely get in 1500 a day. I have been eating mostly meat that I season and drinking Sunny D and water. What can I do to improve my weight loss? Thanks!

1. Eat breakfast within 2 hours after your wake up
2. Eat a small meal every 3 hours
3. Do not eat after 6pm at night
4. Drink more water - cut out the Sunny D - at least 64 oz per day.
5. Rather that increase the number if night you walk, increase the distance.
