The recipe there is OK. If it tastes good, try it out. Check out http://www.proteinshakerecipes.net for free protein shake recipes, or even just google "Protein Shake Recipes." The one big tip I'd give is that you should try replacing the ice cubes with frozen broccoli. It sounds crazy, but you won't taste the broccoli, it'll have the same effect as ice cubes, and it'll make your shake way, way healthier! Trust me, try it out!

Maybe take out the honey and get Whey with a flavor. Also add two table table spoonfuls of oatmeal into your shake.

Take care,
Andrew

It depends what your goals are. If you are trying to gain muscle and some body weight as well, this should be good. If you are trying to cut some excess body fat to reveal muscle then I would suggest only using one spoonful of peanut butter, Equal or Splenda instead of honey, and Skim milk instead of reduced fat. Don't become obcessed with this though, try and mix it up sometimes. I recently have been buying frozen fruits (strawberries, blueberries, peaches) to throw in instead of a banana. Variety is key, that way you stay motivated and keep the shakes tasting delicious.

Great post! I totally understand how you feel. I'm also trying to lose weight and I found this great product which is working for me (it's all 100% natural - a colon cleanse that was really gentle on my body. I feel so good and I lost 15 pounds). You can check the website at
http://www.be-happy-diet.us , I had a free trial and paid less than $5.00 shipping and handling. Best of luck!
