no white bread or rice....just limit your carbs. Only eat high fiber wheat carbs (oatmeal and wheat bread, high fiber cereal) to increase your metabolism. Start jogging too, instead of just walking. Dribnk atleast 2 glasses of milk a day and eat plain yogurts. Drink cranbery juice mixed with water and eat tons of fresh fruits and vegatables. Lift weights, even if its only 5 pounds. Do crunches and sit-ups and do leg excersizes to strain your muscel and loose fat. If you stick to eating a low carb low calorie and high fiber (fruits, vegatables, and high fiber grains) foods, continue working out (jogging and running and weights and sit-ups crunhces and leg exersizes) you will shed the fat and gain mucsel you will be proud of.

Popcorn is ok, once or twice a week. Eat the smart balance low-butter kind,

Drink lots of water; Not so sure about the microwave popcorn; Also, don't be so aggressive with your goal, take it slow and healthily.

Why do you want to lose 15 pounds? I don't think you need to...

well muscle burns more than calories, so you may want to try doing some light weight training. If you do decide to do this, you are going to want to focus on doing lots of reps versus lifting a lot of weights. This is so you can tone your body.

What is better than microwave popcorn is just buying the kernals and popping it yourself. That way you dont eat all that artifical butter and salt, which is really unhealthy for you.

focus on eating lots of fruits and veggies and drink lots of water. Dont drink those flavored waters or teas because they usually have a lot of sugar in them. In addition, you should limit the amount of processed carbs. These are foods like, pastas (instead eat whole grain pasta), white bread (try whole wheat bread), potatoes, and popcorn, etc. This will also help to boost the weight loss. However, if you do change your diet and stop eating the above items, you will need to make that a perminant change. What I do, is that I normally keep a few of my absolute favorite processed carbs and then I eat some of the whoel grain or whole wheat stuff.

Snacking is good, as long as it is fruits, veggies, etc, in between meals. Eating proper meals is very important.

The biggest question is do you want to lose weight, or do you want to become healthier, more fit, etc. If the latter is what you want to do, you should probably measure your success in inches lsot, not by weight. I say this becuase, if you start doing sit ups, weight training, etc, you will appear to have gained weight according to the scale. This is because muscle weighs more than fat. It is also good to vary your routine a bit, so you are insuring that you work out all of your body.

Dont avoid social situations because you are trying to diet and stuff. When I have friends come to visit and we go out, I eat stuff that I wouldnt normally eat, but its in moderation. for example, I dont normally eat french fries, but if on the rare occasion I go out to eat, I may order some. Also, if there is food in your house that isnt good for you and that you feel you shouldnt be eating, then gte rid of it. If its not in the house, then you are less likely going to fall victim to it.

Hope this helps! good luck!
