Nah, not really. You'll lose that weight as you become more active.

get real your still a kid and still growing.

not fat...but sounds like u r heavy for your height...talk to your parents about eating healthy and working out or someone at school

don't worry

I don't think you're fat but it's definitely past your bed time!

4 feet to five feet is a huge range. You need to ask your doctor on this. No one on here can give you a real answer because your question is so vague.

Maybe you should see a doctor then to help you get on a healthy regimen of food and activities so you can feel better about yourself.

here is how to fix it:

don't eat as much
run on a treadmill

do this and DON'T give in and eat a whole lot and you'll lost weight just fine

You don't know how tall you are, but you know how much you weigh?

You should get out and exercise and start eating healthy. Don't focus on your weight, focus on your health.

don't watch too much TV

you are YOU and you can do things to control your weight. Eat smaller portions, exercise when you can, and feel good about yourself no matter how tall you are or how much you weigh.

I think I was you size...but now I'm 6'5" and 240 lbs!

It's okay...you'll get taller, and then thinner.

well u weigh less than my sister and shes the same age but she is taller than u. u are a bit over weight though, not too much.

your not fat, you just got a little more than you need,
just keep moving and eat healthy food,
by the time u hit 18yrs. you'll be in great shape!

You are not fat. Not even close. Your only eleven. Just wait. I had that problem for a long time. Be comfortable with who you are and know that others like you for how you act. NOT what you weigh
;D

No, you're not fat. You're still growing! Your width just hasn't quite caught up to your height yet...

just let your height catch up with your weight and youll be fine

just get involve in some sports or something that will keep you in shape

Your not fat, stop putting yourself down, i mean there were a lot of people in your situation that are thin beauties. All you need is the confidence and the energy to help yourself shape up a little. As for other people, don't mind what they say, they obviously have nothing else better to do then act like ignorant people. Be happy who you are and how you look.

Please don't ask a yes or no question and then ask people to NOT say yes... thus eliminating one of the two answers leaving you with what you want to hear... it's not a question if it has two answers but you tell us not to answer in a certain way.

And no, you are not. Though, how will you know if I am just saying that because you asked me to or because I really think that you are still growing and should just stay healthy, which is what everyone should do.

You may be a little overwieght for your age and height. Your still young and when you hit puberty it usually evens things out. If you are really worried about your weight try reading the nutritional facts on your food before you eat them.

are you a guy or girl? And are you well built? Muscle weighs more than fat so your body might just be mostly muscle. it's okay to be a little overweight because you are still young and you are growing taller right now ( going through puberty.) If you really want to lose weight, just exercise more and dont eat a lot of fatty foods.

you aren't fat, but you may need to increase your activity level. try dancing to music in your room every night. And eat healthy snacks often. like fruit, try not to eat chips or candy very often and when you do just eat a llittle bit.
Exercise will make you feel better about yourself whether or not you are overweight.

your body mass index says you are.a 5 foot 9 woman would be curvy at that weight.the good news is that you are not necessarily unhealthy

It's good that you're already concerned about your weight at age 11, but since you aren't fully developed yet I wouldn't be too concerned. Just make sure to continue eating properly (not too much junk food) and get lots of exercise. Continue to stay active outdoors and your weight will probably become more stable. Also, try setting a goal weight within a certain time period (if you want to lose weight) and keep this routine up.

Why are you still up? you need to get plenty of rest, you are still very young

I think you shouldn't wait for people to call you fat. I will start exercising and eating healthier food now. For your age and you height your nearing the overweight range. I am sorry but I hate it when people tell kids that they will outgrow it or he/shes only a kid! I am asian and my parents never think of eating too much as cute when we are growing up. Moderation is always the key. That is why you don't see a whole lot of overweight asians/pacific islander kid fat. Just my opinion.

Of course not!!! I'm 15 and i let my weight get kind of out of hand. I am 5 foot 8-ish and weigh 170-ish. I have been working on it, and have lost about 15 pounds. I've been eating healthier and in smaller portions and riding my bike a couple of miles after school. I started just going around the block a couple of times and have worked up to this over about a month. It really is not hard at all, and if you want to lose a little bit of weigh, is a good idea. Instead of eating chips and soda, eat an orange and some water. I actually find I prefer the orange to chips, and I never really was a soda drinker. There are so many little things you can do to lose a few pounds if you feel uncomfortable with your weight. I used to think of myself as fat, but when I focused on the things I like about myself (like my eyes and my hair and the strong muscles on my legs), my whole perspective changed. But you are definitely NOT fat. I promise.

You're not fat. You just think you are. You don't like yourself, which also ways down on how you act around others. The less you think of yourself, the better you look.
Let your image run wild and free, but keep it in the aspects of healthy.
Sometimes, fatness doesn't matter. Fitness matters. Are you fit? I'm certainly not.

I'm 6 foot, 210lbs, pretty unfit and only fifteen. **** happens, you know? I'm trying to grow out of my dirty habits before they become a HUGE problem.
You should too.

Well dear, 4 feet or 5 feet, you are a little heavy, but most of that is probably baby fat, and it will go away in time..Get out and jump rope and run and play, eat healthy. And make sure you are not drinking to many sodas. Have Mom to make an appointment with a nutritionist, they will help by letting you know what to eat and how much. P.S. Don't forget to be a kid

YOU ARE ELEVEN!!!

WHY are you worrying about this? Stop beating yourself up. And ignore body mass indexes; they are useless.

If you take the time to weigh yourself accurately enough that you don't round up or down, ask someone to measure you.

Wait till you finish growing. Be a kid, play sports, play outside. Kids under 15 should not be worrying about weight unless they are obese. And you aren't.

even at 5 feet, 147 pounds is a bit chunky..still, you are young and will probably lose some of that baby fat as you mature..however, spend less time in front of your computer or tv and get more active. kids these days don't seem to move as much as kids used to before computers were all the rage. and stay away from junk food. with alittle effort, the weight will fall off easily at your young age. you have youth on your side. take advantage of it. good luck.
